Important Information for Applicants - Read it carefully - {PART 1}

It came to know from different facebook group posts/ comments and from some personal experiences that there are some deficiencies which should be clear before go to any opportunity regarding admission or scholarship abroad.

Guys, be attentive if you wanna apply for abroad scholarships or admissions then you should prepare the documents (as following):

1. Attest metric (10th) +inter (12th) from relevant board and IBCC.

2. Attest all degrees+transcripts from HEC.

3. Attest all documents (metric+inter+degrees+transcripts)from MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Note: Scan all documents and convert into pdf format.

4. Make a good and effective CV, I saw many students have good experience and grades but they can't express themselves via a good CV. You can get different formats from internet for CV creation e.g Europas CV format etc.

5. Get at-least 2 or 3 reference letters from your very last institutes (professors or associate professors only). Also request them to refer you if any institute ask them for reference via email or online.

6. Go for IELTS with a good preparation (get minimum 6.0 or 6.5 is good, you guys can check some useful tips about IELTS via Google and I will also try my level best in near future to post on this forum as well.

    6A) Keep in mind that every country and university requires IELTS, but there are some destinations like China, Taiwan, Japan, Veitnam and Thailand etc don't ask, so for these countries get English Proficiency Certificate from your last attended institute.

   6B) USA requires TOEFL + GRE. Only few universities in USA accept ielts.

Note: Due to Covid-19 pendemic the conditions and requirements can be changed.

7. If you are planning for USA, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia (like KFUPM etc), Canada (some universities), UAE then must to go for GRE and get remarkable scores.

8. Statement of Purpose (SoP)/ personal statement is also required, so prepare it according to your subject as well and mention your abilities in it. A good format for help and guideline can be found via Google. I will also try my level best in coming times to post here as well.

Note:  China and Taiwan need Study Plan and format is available in group files.

9. Research proposal is mandatory for research based degrees, so make a good and strong research proposal. It's necessary for most of PhD and sometimes Masters as well. Format and guidelines are available on internet and can be accessed via Google.

10. Clear your mind and vision that in which field you wanna go for further studies, then study about latest research of that specific field. By doing this you'll be clear that what have been done in this field and what can be done further.

11. Contact different supervisors from different universities and countries and ask if they have any opportunity for you.

12. There are some fixed scholarships from different countries which are announced every year, so try to find facts about those scholarships like when will be announced, when will be deadline, what are requirements, application process and how much application fee etc.

13. Ask from different people who have got scholarships that what to do to get scholarships, you'll get a guideline and help for application.

14. Most of all I saw that many guys wanna go abroad and hunting for scholarship but they don't have passport. So guys get your passports at first attempt if you don't have yet.
